Istanbul Gelisim University

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) is a dynamic private university founded in 2008 in Istanbul, and one of the fastest-rising institutions in Turkey. In just over a decade, it has grown into a university with over 38,000 international students from more than 103 countries — one of the highest international student ratios among Turkish private universities. IGU offers 101 undergraduate, 51 associate, 76 graduate, and 10 PhD programs across 7 faculties including Engineering and Architecture, Health Sciences, Dentistry, Economics, Fine Arts, Applied Sciences, and Sports Sciences. The university's accreditation portfolio is extensive and internationally recognized: MÜDEK and EUR-ACE label for engineering programs (aligned with European standards); ABET (USA) for engineering technology; AQAS (Germany) for most faculties; AHPGS (Germany) for health and social sciences; Pearson (UK) accreditation. It also holds ASIIN membership and is a member of the European University Association (EUA) and International Association of Universities (IAU).
